Variable profile roll combined with the tension leveller which allows thin materials to be levelled at high speed without maintenance and lubrication between roll and material.
The roll profile can assume different configurations depending on the defect to be corrected (concave; convex; S-shaped…).

Upper mill holder head for the processing of the upper horizontal surface of the slab. Automatic system for detection of dimensions and profile of the entry slab. Slabs turn-over system with position control. Milling tools inserts designed to be used twice as roughing tools and twice as finishing tools with consequent reduction of costs for spare parts and related expenses of stock.
The Venturi suction system guarantees not only dust removal with 99.9 per cent efficiency, but also higher production volumes due to reduced maintenance downtime. Automatic, semi-automatic and sequential working modes.
FIMI’s compactor doesn’t chip the scraps, but it compresses them without production of dust, as with traditional system.
The chips are sucked in and conveyed through soundproofed conduits to the silo before the compactor. A chip accumulation is never produced in the silo to avoid problems with the normal discharge flow.
The Compactor consists of a first part in which the chips are pushed by two rotating screws towards the compactor rolls.
The chips pushed into contact of the two rolls are compacted to make a homogeneous panel. At the exit of the compactor rolls a rotary shear provides to cut the panels into pieces whose length is variable.
The cut panels are then conveyed through a discharger conveyor to the containers to be divided according to the type of processed alloy.
Shears with automatic positioning of the cutting heads and high-speed operation on thicknesses from 0,10 to 5 mm. The accuracy of the radial and axial rotation of the heads ensures a very high cutting precision and the absence of burrs.
FIMI trimming shears have been designed to incorporate a central cutting head that increases their versatility.
Oilers that are perfectly adaptable to existing plants to increase their production range. Dosing is precise and constant, while the product is equally distributed, even on thin weights.
The immediacy of the regulation system and the quick rolls change, achieved through careful study of the process and maintenance details, make FIMI Oilers easy to use. In addition, appropriate heat insulation ensures safety and energy saving.
Modern FIMI embossers for aluminium and stainless steel with customized cylinders are a further proof of FIMI’s ability to fulfil customer’s needs.
The version with interchangeable embossing heads meets the need to reduce the downtime required for roll changing.
“Meander” or “punching” stitching machines to suit every strip thickness and width. For on-line seam, FIMI has developed a range of high-pressure hydraulic stitching machines with automatic control of the path of the on-line seam, that is precise and safe.
